By Road – For the most direct route please follow your Sat Nav: SA17 4DE.
Situated just off the A484 between Llanelli and Carmarthen, Ffos Las Racecourse is clearly signposted. From the east from J48 of the M4 and from the west from the A40 to Carmarthen.
If you’re arriving by car, coach or minibus, there is free parking on-site.
Raceday Bus – There is a subsidised bus to and from the racecourse. The bus operates from Llanelli train station with dedicated pick up and return times. Customers will be charged £1 per journey on a strictly first come first served basis. Please check individual fixtures for exact times this service will operate.
Please note we cannot guarantee that the bus times will fall in line with the scheduled train times. If you have a journey booked and are required to be at the station by a specific time then it is advised that your own transport is arranged.
Public Bus – First Cymru operate a Monday to Saturday bus service from Llanelli to Carmarthen (No 197). It has stops in Trimsaran, Carway, Ponthenri and Meinciau.
By Rail – The nearest train stations to Ffos Las Racecourse are Kidwelly (4.5 miles), Pembrey and Burry Port (4.5 miles), Llanelli (6 miles) and Carmarthen (12 miles).
By Air – Ffos Las will accommodate helicopters on race days by request. Advance notice is required to ensure arrival and departure times do not conflict with racing or other bookings on the day.

Pembrey Airport is only 3 miles from Ffos Las and offers the following:
• Commercial Aircraft charters
• Commercial Helicopter charters
• Passenger handling in a new dedicated arrival and departure lounge
• Aviation refuelling with Av-Gas and Jet fuel (pressure or gravity)
